If this belongs in a different forum, I apologize.
Today my daughter said a curse word. Nothing too awfully terrible, but when she dropped some milk on the floor she said "Oh, ****." I was slightly amused but didn't want to let on, because I don't want her to think that this behavior is okay. I said "Amaris! Don't say that, it's a bad word." No doubt she learned this language at school.
So, what say you? If this behavior continues, should I ignore her, scold her...? Opinions are much appreciated! :D |
Well seeing as you dont want her saying that, you should scold her maybe even punish her when she says those words, because if theres no consequence for something shes not suppose to do then its not going to stop her from using those words unless she thinks she has a good reason not to.
