He loved our cosplay, declared us "brilliant" and "great" in the most adorable Welsh accent short of Eve Myles, answered all our questions, and yes, signed my daughter's tie! Was a great giggle for all when he commanded her to "come on then, get on your knees" so he could do it with some proper backing from the table. Have to locate my cable so I can get the photo of us with him uploaded, but will do so. *great giant hug* I've missed you! So lonely without my Torchwood buddy. Sorry to hear about your hurtfulness. *waves magic wand* All better. Okay...first of all...can't wait for the pictures. Secondly...*squee* GDL. Lucky daughter. What I wouldn't do to have him ask me to get on my knees. (Well...I'd have to ask DH first...but...) I'm glad you guys had such a good time. Did you get to see JB? Was he even there? Glad your back! *Great big hug to Mama!* Missed you and everyone else on Meez, too! And thanks for the all better, it helps! JB was only there on Thurs and Fri, but we wanted to see GDL, so we got Sunday tickets. It was hilarious when he first saw us. We were the first Torchwood cosplay group he'd seen in the US, so he kind of did this double take because we were off to the side looking over the photos and then he giggled under his breath, so I said "You knew it would happen at some point," and he replied with "But you look great!" When I get the pictures posted you will see that we went with the full commitment, right down to haircuts and colors, so it was pretty wild. Then when we made our next walkby I gave him this little Jack wave and he giggled again and did it right back. Then I got fanboyed by a brilliant classic Joker and that set him off again, too. It was a bunch of fun around the BBC America booth, where we got the most recognition. There weren't even any Doctor cosplayers, so we were pretty much the only ones representing BBC scifi, but that made us all the more special. Oh, and one thing GDL answered for us. On the question of whether Ianto was jealous over the soldier-in-a-bar bit from Stolen Earth, he admitted it was a tiny bit of jealousy and that Ianto feels a little bit jealous of all of Jack's experiences, but it was just as much that he wondered why he wasn't there to meet the soldier, too. Naughty-minded Ianto. We also noted that he's totally in shape at the moment and when we asked him if this means there's going to be another shirtless scene, he gave us a coy grin and flexed. And seriously, if you ever get the chance to see him in person, you'll -really- get why Jack would have it bad for Ianto. GDL is amazingly pretty face-to-face.

That sounds like so much fun Sorry you missed JB...but GDL sounds Amazing.. Seriously...next time I'm going to have to go to a Con. I just need to. I can't believe you guys were the only BBC America Cos-Players though. That just seems crazy. Considering how many shows they have now...Oi.

I am just grinning here typing because I am imagining you doing the wave and him giving it back. Just Brilliant...BRILLIANT!!!!! And YOU got fanboyed? I am so sorry. Though...it is a good compliment.

Was there a question and answer session with him...or did you just go up and ask him about the moment in "The Stolen Earth?" Plus...flexing. Oh yeah...OH YEAH! How did hubby handle your fan-girl gooing???
