Forgive me if I'm repeating what's already been said, but I agree with the thread title.

McCain hardly knew this woman before he chose her as his VP. Perhaps it's because he thought a woman might appeal to part of the population? Or maybe it was the fact that he might find some pro-choice supporters. It's pandering, and it's ruined any chance of my support for the Republicans this year. Palin is not fit for this position.
