The Mid-night Fairy [Poem]
She lurks in the sky,
when the moon is still high,
searching for prey,
for she sleeps in the day,
Her eyes chocolate brown,
on her face,
she always wears a frown,
her lips thin and pink,
her skin white and cold,
her hair brown with a light touch of gold.
She is the mid-night fairy,
no. She's not that scary,
She looks as though a child,
so sweet and so mild,
when she cries,
the sea rises,
when she smiles,
so many surprises!
When she laughs,
a whole town laughs,
when she sleeps,
half the earth sleeps,
when she dies...
the whole world dies.
