1st. Go to File>New and choose what size you'd like.

2nd. Make sure that its black

3rd. Go to Filters>Render>Nature>Flame

4th. This window should pop up,Click Camera>zoom in>Edit

5th. You can change the type of flame by clicking Variation.
I chose disc.
