Lightbulb Icon Steampunk, Victoriana, Weird Music...

Arcadia, at least in my opinion, seems deliberately Steampunk. So, my question is: How many people around here are into Steampunk, Neo-Victorian style, art, music, stories, etc.

Any fans of The Dresden Dolls, Rasputina, Emilie Autumn, Dr. Steel, or any other musician/band who pulls inspiration from a previous time period? If so, a special hang-out for those of us in this mindset is in order, I think. Especially for music recommendations...

Anyone agree?

I like Rasputina and Emilie Autumn. The other two I know and have heard, but am not such a fan of.

It would be nice to hear some Rasputina or Emilie Autumn around.

There is something beyond disturbing when one is in Arcadia and you hear hip-hop crap playing in all the rooms.

*shudders*

Babbage Boardwalk has dark ambient playing in it and there's only maybe two crappy songs in Cathedral Club. As it were, I'm glad they don't play Rasputina or Emilie Autumn because both of them annoy me. Now Abney Park or Vernian Process would be a different story.
