Default tips on drawing please??

Hey do any of you have any really good tips on getting female proportions correct? When the person is leaning over its easy, but when the person is standing straight up I can't seem to get it to look right. Thanks!! Please comment probably all of your comments will help emmensly!!

I couldn't tell you just by words, I'd have to show you. But basically, the waist is a bit narrower than the breasts, and the breasts should sort of flow right into the waist, and the hips should be out as far as the breasts from the sides and....

You see how typing is hard?

Lol you could post a drawing as an example? I am just having a hard time when I draw a picture from straight on. The breasts are the hardest to get to look normal XD!!!

See how the breasts and hips go out from the sides pretty much equally, how the waist fans out and than draws back in and goes in and down as it hits the legs?

Thankyou!!!!!! That was the word. But yes, this is one of the ways female bodies are typically drawn as. Others are curvier.

Okay thanks. They are just soooo confusing for me!!! I will try a drawing later today and see if I can get the proportions correct. I will post it when Its done so you can give me tips.

Try observing people in the real world? I find it helps much if you're studying bodies and proportions.

Yup. I always start using the head size as reference for other body parts.
