When I was younger I had about 7 or 8 at one time, but I didn't finish half of those. I'm only reading two now because I misplace one regularly. =/

I read multiple books at once so that I always have something to read. I'll have one in my backpack, one in my purse, one in the car, and usually at least one in my room. I'll read a few chapters at school and one on the way to school in the morning, and then I'll read for about twenty minutes before bed so that I get at least a bit of each read every day.

I alwasy have a few books going, but that's because I get bored sometimes and have to switch it up. Sometimes I can sit down and plow through a book in one sitting and some days I just can't sit still. Or My interest will change after 20 minutes or so. So I have a variety of books so that I always have something on hand that will interest me.

I'm on a mission to read all the books on my grandmother's bookcase. What I did was look at the summaries and organize them in the case based on which ones I really really want to read.

I absolutely cannot take on several books at once, it ruins them for me. I need to devote myself entirely to a work. I just don't think it is worth reading if you can't even give it your full attention.
