The list is a joke. Apparently they don't know a good book when they see it. There were several great books on there. One of the things that disturbed me the most was seeing "The Child Called It: That book and it's series is how an abuse boy who had nothing and no hope for life successfully made it. That book is inspiration to all of those kids that get abused. How dare them say something like that is the worst book ever.

Looking over this list, I do agree with many that appear on the top 100 (ie: Catcher and tehe Rye, Scarlett Letter, the Great Gatsby) [gag much!] there is one particular book that I feel the need to defend, at least just a little bit.

In the defense of One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, I have to say that it is not an easy read (neither in Spanish nor in English). I know that many people complain that is too complex and hard to keep track of the characters. To this I say, DO NOT read this book of you are not familiar with Garcia Marquez's writing style. If this is the first book you read by him, most people find it discouraging and don't want to check out his other works.

He is a great writer!

I can understand how poeple might dislike twilight... But i saw the holy bible on there, and didnt knwo wheather to laugh, or to be angery.

harry potter does not deserve to be on that list. Whoever made it obviosly has mental problems......
