I don't agree with the majority of that list. i can't see how people can even consider putting them as the worst books of all time. tut tut. i mean philip pullmans his dark materials trilogy has to be one of my all time favourite series' and give a brilliant insight into the life and the church. if you haven't read them, i suggest you do.

I believe that that list is more accurately the most popular books of all time. Because they are so popular, people form very strong opinions of them. And then there's that there are more twelve year olds on the internet whining about having to read Lord of the Flies than there are literature professors. ; D

Some of these books i have not heard of before, but majority of them are ones i have read and liked Its devstating that people would book such good books on there like The Scarlet Letter and Wuthering Heights not to mention the others that are on the list. Also I was browsing the site and came across the "Best Books Ever" and there are many that are on both lists.

I agree with some, disagree with most. How can people say that the diary of Anne Frank is one of the worst books ever? They probably haven't even read it, and those who have and say it's bad probably think it's not true. ><

| I definitely disagree with the majority of books on that list. The only reason I "dislike" the Twilight series is because of the rabid fangirl sub-culture that it has created. I rather liked the books, but I hate the fact that people are obsessing over them. It's just a book. And, seriously? Forrest Gump? The Kite Runner? Lord of the Flies? Heart of Darkness? Harry Potter? The Historian? Ender's Game! Those are some of my favorite books. The only ones I agree with on this list are the books written by Ann Coulter and Terry Goodkind (*coughRobertJordan/Tolkienripoffcough*).

Seriously, that list was written by an idiot. I really like a lot of the books on that list. The person who made the list is just too much of a moron to understand literature. Edit: The Little Prince is on that list! WTF? I absolutely love that book.

I haven't read many of those books, but I was surprised when I saw the books I have read. Like, Eragon and The Diary of Anne Frank. Well, I never actually finished The Diary of Anne Frank. But I was only about 12 when I read it. I did see the movie though. And I saw the movie of some of the other books on that list, and if the books are anywhere near as great as the movies, it's hard to believe that they got on that list. I also think that if the teens the voted on this list knew that Joe Jonas like The Alchemist, they wouldn't be so quick to put it on this list.
