That list confuses me. It has all the Twilight series on it, so the list has so much potential because it isn't under the influence of the "ZOMGTWILIGHT!". But then it has so many books that just shouldn't be there. I'm a seventh (well, eighth now, I guess) grader, and I know that some of these books are classics. (And yes, I've read them.)

I hated Lord Of the Flies, but it was really well-written... Alot of those books on there are. I mean, I can see why Twilight is up there (With the rest of the series), But Mitch Albom books? Shel Silverstein? ANNE FRANK? COME ON! Those are fantastic books that shouldn't, by ANY means, be on there...

I didn't bother reading much of that so at leah's comment about Anne Frank i was a bit shocked. Was that seriously on there? What the hell?! I think that seeing as most of those books are classics people are going all 'badass' and voting for them, probably not having read them at all. I know they aren't everyones cup of tea - I hated Orwells nineteen eighty four but that doesnt mean to say I didn't see what a good book it is. edit: just read a few more pages THE BOY IN THE STRIPED PYJAMAS?! I feel like I might vomit

I completley understand that people will have different views on everything, with books being no exception. What really bothers me, is the fact that a bunch of people have decided to make a huge list of all the books they've managed to read and hated. I mean, it's just stupid. Some people will agree with books on that list, but I personally think that most of those choices are bull sh*t.

There's a lot of them, but Twilight and Harry Potter are the first that come to mind. To me Twilight just is not interesting, and the way it's written reminds me of the way a sixth grader would write. Harry Potter is well written, but it's so repetitive.
