I'm reading the Golden Compass, for it is a summer school project. =/ It's quite good though.

I'm also reading Blue is for Nightmares by Laurie Faria Stolarz—love her name—but I haven't picked it up in a while because I got too caught up in New moon by Stephenie Meyer for the second time.
