Harry Potter is the most overrated book series ever it was okay but ii'm so over it like YEARS ago
It was good when it came out but how there are still so many Harry Potter freaks is beoyned me
Twilight is also overrated but it is still new and fresh and was heuge before the movies came out

Harry Potter was huge before the movies, too. It's been translated into more languages than probably any other book and has been a top seller for over a decade.
They're both extremely overrated though. Maybe it's because people want to fit in or follow another's example, but popular books are often only average writing that someone started a trend with. There are many exceptions of course, but this is usually the case.
And Twilight isn't so 'new'. It's been out since 2005 and the fad didn't take long to follow. That's almost 5 years now.

Harry Potter is WAYYY better. Twilight kinda tries to put you under a spell, and only the most intelligent and loyal HP fans can avoid it. I don't know if you've noticed, but I've noticed most Twilight fans don't put their reasons why they like Twilight besides Edward Cullen.
