| Harry Potter. That's what got most kids into reading. I've been reading it since I was 5 years old and I still read and re-read the series. JK Rowling is a genius who's created her own world and all her books are amazing whereas Stephenie Meyer is at best, an average writer. I read the whole Twilight series but I only liked Eclipse. I preferred The Host. | |||||||

Unfortunately, I didn't start reading harry potter until 5th grade, so i was likee 10 maybe? But I've read those books so many times. There was one point where I had two copies of books 1-5, and I kept one copy in the car, and one in my house/wherever I put it. It's kind of ridiculous. I just got my mom to read the twilight series, and she loved it. Now I've got her reading other vampireish books, that imo are so much better than twilight, but she doesn't like them. And she refuses to read the Harry Potter series. X;
