What's healthy about weighing more than someone of your age/height/build should?
What's unhealthy about it?
Many times, nothing. Sometimes, there are problems with circulation, blood pressure, hormones, etc, but often, a few extra pounds doesn't hurt anything but your waistline.

It does matter to me, if they have some VERY unhealthy eating habits. E.g. Eating every 20 minutes, usually eats fast food in every meal, rarely eats any healthy thing, etc. Also, if they were severely overweight, had some health risks, I would try to persuade them into making better choices. If they have a great personality then I would try to get to know them.

Two hundred and three hundred pounds can be very slender for a very very tall person.
MIGHT I ADD.

And I agree with Vmacfan.
Well, I was talking about an average height person.

Yes, but that's why they're not getting acknowledged. It's called "overweight" for a reason...
OF COURSE, but it's still sad for people with weight problems. No matter whose fault it is, being turned down is not a good feeling.

For the person who claims it is called "overweight" for a reason .
True, but isn't the term "underweight" also used? It is the other extreme in weight terms, and some people find that attractive.

You can wiegh 200-300 lbs and still be healthy. Remember there some people who are born with a bigger bone mass than others. Also there are people who work out and have a bigger muscle mass than others. Like you can be 6'5 300 lbs and still be healthy. It takes personality to like someone in my opnion. Some people have different attractions.

I was talking specifically about overweight because of the post that prompted it...but of course, the same logic applies to underweight, as well. There are people who find both extremes attractive and there are people who can fall into those categories and be generally healthy, but overall it's not considered desirable to be either one.

I'm packin' 210 and most people think I'm very attractive and that I carry myself well. In fact, when I tell people I weigh 200 they don't really think I'm being serious. People compliment me because I dress up nice, I actually try to take care of myself, and I give a crap about my intelligence and having some fun every now and then..........

you:

i love you

i am meatier as well, lol, but i still think i'm a cutie and others would agree. Not to sound conceited or anything, but it's true. I don't mind the way i am.

oh, and might i add, weight isnt a big deal for me when it comes to other people. I wouldn't mind someone like seth rogen or anything. <3333

now thats attractive.

Depends. As far as attraction goes I prefer women a little "meaty" but there is a limit. That's just me being honest. I"m considered "overweight" or even "obese" by BMI standards. I'm five foot one inch and 150ish pounds (it varies)

Alot of what's attractive depends on the person. On someone 200 pounds may look okay, on someone else same height it could look horrible.
