It doesnt matter. Yes, they help prevent panty lines, isnt that what theyre made to do? And if not, who cares?
Panty lines are a little embarassing, and unattractive, so thongs are necessary while wearing tight things.
I mean, I started wearing thongs in 6th grade, me and my tight pants addiction... Thongs are just underwear, would you rather have people going nude? And panty-less?

Oh my...they arent giving them something to work with, pedophiles just take it that way. And little children shouldnt be considered hot, or sexy to older men, thats just not right. And grown men should know that.

it seems as though our culture has a deep detrimental influence on kids nowadays. And whether or not kids wear these sexually explicit things, this should not give excuse for a man or woman to prey on a child. There's a little something called self control that almost everybody today excuses or dismisses. Our culture apparently never ceases to revolve around sex. And i pity any kid that's subjected to this mature content at such a young age.

I don't understand why anyone would want to wear thongs. They're just a piece of string between your cheeks.
I wasn't interested in bras until I had to wear them. I think little girls may want to try them, but she'll probably never wear it again.

Sadly girls these days like to portray themselves older than they really are. Someone mentioned something about pedophiles, and the kids giving them something to work with. Well, I don't believe a pedophile normally is picky on who they choose. BUT, they did have a good round about point with their statement. Girls, even women, wear these short skirts with thongs hanging out the top, but get mad when someone checks them out. That to me is just silly. You are giving them something to look at. So either dress less scantily, or learn to handle it.

Now, about the young girls wearing thongs. I personally do not agree with it. Yes, I do see them as just underwear, but most of those girls who want to wear thongs are only doing it to act older than they are, or are trying to be attractive and "Sexy". This is from my personal experience with those I have grew up with, and those I have seen. I have only meet a handful of people that actually wore a thong because they didn't want panty lines to show.

I do hate the image magazines and TV give girls. Most now look up to these teenagers who go around drinking and dress very much inoropriet (In my eyes). It's sad, and slightly pitiful.

So, to sum up my opinions into a quick answer to your question: No, I don't believe they should.

To each their own. It's really the parents to blame if a young girl is wearing thongs..

Personally, I think thongs are not attractive at all. A nice pair of regular underwear are far more flattering to one's figure.

Actually, thongs can look pretty good. You just need to have a nice butt.

I still don't think they look good, personally. But then I find that selective clothing on a woman is more attractive/alluring than just a purely naked body.
