Anyways...The correct term is scene kids. There is no possible way to physically be a music genre or a shortened term for "emotional".

Because along with "emo" came the bi-boy-trend, its now "cool" to fake feelings for someone you don't have them for, straight guys pretend to have this whole emotional comeing out WHEN THEY ONLY LIKE GIRLS NO T BOTH.

its not so much weither the gaydar works or not, its b eing hurt by someone who swears they do like guys and ONLY guys (or truly both or just girls) and then getting dumped becasue he decided he didnt like guys or was done pretending

Actually, it means happy. That's not offensive, it's saying homosexuals are way too cheery.
I'll say stuff is gay if I want to. I always have done. :B
