1. It depends on your idea of popularity. 2. Not all popular kids are that way. At my school, some of the popular crowd are in all honors, and don't come from rich families. Therefore, the study is definitely flawed. You can't judge a person's potential in life by how many friends they have. Ever.

But being spoiled, I can see making people end up with lousier jobs. There is a set of twins in my class who bribed the principal to accept them. And they were open about it. They slack off on their work because the school won't get rid of them, because they pay large sums of money. One of the twins got accepted and he even failed 8th grade! They never do anything because: 1. They have one of the biggest and most respected family names in the county. 2. They have more money than almost anyone in the area. 3. Their parents know all of the insiders. But their family just got into a huge lawsuit and is losing money like crazy, and I hope it will be a good reality check for them so that they know that your granny's name and your dad's cash can't always save you. Not all spoiled kids are this way, but more spoiled kids that I know are like this than not.

Psh, NAW! My Friend Michelle is popular, like REALLY popular. She's studen counci president, does peer leaders, starred in our School Musical, plays flute, is thin, and barely anyone has anything bad to say about her. Oh and I forgot to mention, she's one of the smartest kids I know. She's clever and she wants to be a psyciatrist, a job that requires alot of social skills. So yeah. I don;t think it deals with popularity so much as if they actually do S***

It depends on the person in specific. Say there's a popular jock, in the football team. When he tries to be a football player for a living, he ends up not being good enough and has no idea what to do now. Same with a cheerleader. Though, I'm sure there are plenty of popular kids who succeed in life after school.

I know a fat cheerleader. :/ She's really funny and nice, and pretty. She's also probably one of the best on the team as well.

And yes, I think there is a definite flaw in that study. There is a difference between the people that are popular and the people that are spoiled.
