Well
on the news aparently my school and our superantendant was talked about.

Hes not letting people wear their military uniforms to graduation.

so people are calling him unpatriotic

and hes moving to another school,and now they dont want him there.

your thoughts?

I mean its great that they want to show their love for military and whatnot, but it's graduation, they should just wear the grad uniform... They have all their lives to wear their military uniform.

I think that if you can wear your derss unifrom to a wedding, funeral, military service, or any other formal event then whats the difference.

Agreed. It's not that it's unpatriotic, but that it's graduation and they should show respect for everyone and wear the graduation uniform.

Ifs its apart of the JROTC, ROTC, or any other miltary program

they did that at my brother's graduation

I would think if it was under the gown it would be ok. But they should at least wear the gown.

Wearing anything other than the gown and, obviously, something simple underneath would NEVER happen at the high school I graduated from. The principal is extremely serious about the whole ceremony. We weren't even allowed to throw our caps at the end.
