Every year, I go to IParty to find the perfect haloween costume. Something my girlfriend will like, that's still not too revealing, warm, but sensual enough to actually mean something.

But the past few years i've noticed that young girls costumes are getting more and more revealing and "Sexy". From the halter-top-belly-exposing witch to the french-maid-short-skirted outfit, these costumes are targeted toward girls 9-12.

Does anyone think this is odd? I mean, you go to the teenage section and half expect to see the skimpy get ups, but those for the pre-teens? For girls under 10? What are your thoughts?

Skimpy outfits for teenagers/young adults are normal, but lately, I've seen skimpy outfits for 6-10 year olds, and thats just wrong. Ever heard of child molesters? Pedophiles? Enough said.

I find rather strange that people buy those kind of costumes for their children. However, I do not see anything wrong with producing them. No one is forced to buy them.

My thoughts? Don't buy them. There are skimpy clothes in general, not just costumes, for anyone of any age. The point is, if you have a kid and don't want them to wear that type of stuff then don't buy it for them or let them wear it.

Its just the same as being a nurse or a doctor, what does it matter? Halloween is a time to dress up however you want, are you going to put a ban on this? Its not a big deal, calm down.

Well, I wouldn't say everyone wants to dress like a ***** for halloween. I don't, I'm going as sailormoon as I always do, in a costume that it to big on me.

Well, I dunno. I just find it odd that girls of such a young age would WANT to go as something so... Adult. I mean, most of those kids don't even know about sex. Yet these costumes are so... Sexy! It just seems odd. I'm not saying ban it or anything. I mean I'm all for freedom of expression in any way, but I know that very few respectable mothers would allow their daughters to go around like that at age 9. =\ you know?
