i love the Constitution, but i like peace better.
im all for human rights and me not liking guns is an opinion. I can accept the use of guns for protection but not for gang activity, other violence, murder.
You can't really hope to regulate the use.

I get what your saying.
but what im thinking is why don't people put more effort into things that do good things.
if a gun was invented to cure aids- i'd be down. Im against guns for the FACT that they have done less good than bad.

A lot of people shoot at targets.

I'm not talking about a car's impact on the environment, I'm talking about people dying in car accidents. Also, heart disease kills more people than guns, but you'd have a hard time trying to ban french fries.

Basically, I guess I am curious why people want to ban guns because "they kill people" while they ignore things such as automobiles, fatty foods and millions of other things that kill people.

There are plenty of things that do more bad than good that are accepted in society.
You can't hope to eliminate 'em off that fact.

It wouldn't defeat the purpose unless you plan on leaving her home alone.
I mean, you could still use it.
Uh, no, having a gun in a locked drawer or cabinet defeats the purpose of having a gun to be accessed for protection if someone breaks into your house.
