I don't buy into conspiracies, but they are fun to debate. So here is one my friend thinks is true. Supposedly there is already a cure for cancer, but the government makes so much money off of the drugs and treatments for cancer, that they will never release the cure. I'm not sure if that is all of it, but if you have something to add that you had heard, feel free to share. :D

I didn't hear that but they a really great pill my dad takes every day... He has kidney cancer. It's really helping him. I works like magic. :)

I doubt that the government would do that, because, while they are greedy bastards, they are humans, probably had their life affected with cancer at one point in their life.

Wouldn't/shouldn't they get more money for the cure? Plus..if we had found a cure, there's a high chance of it getting leaked out by now..and the person who found it would surely receive the Nobel Peace Prize..

That's the same thing my fiance said. I was trying to come up with a counter argument, saying that the military and government both have managed to keep tons of stuff secret from the American people over the years, why wouldn't they be able to pay enough to the people working on this project to keep it a secret too.

I've heard that a certain herpes virus when injected in a human body attracts and binds cancer cells onto itself making it easier to get rid of the cancer completely...you just have to cure herpes afterwards :lol:

Really? I hadn't heard that one. I'll have to look into it. I think I'd rather deal with herpes than cancer. Herpes can't kill you, but cancer can, it might not be the best solution, but still, herpes beats the hell outta death.

Well the government and military would keep it from the nation because it might be for people's own good. Some informations would start up riots, and conspiracies amongst citizens. The cure for cancer would benefit everyone, they'd have no reason to hide it..Considering when it comes to Science, greed is the last thing to look at. The thought of the government hiding this is just paranoia..

I've actually seen it on a documentary.this guy had cancer that kept coming back so he agreed on letting doctors test that on him and it worked...
