Depends on which "God" you're talking about; there's many different religions and my different views on "God".

There's also other religions that have similar beliefs. But I'll take it Christianity is the assumed religion here.

Even in Christianity, it could be debatable. On one side of the coin, you have Christians who say suicide a sin that will send you to Hell. On the other side, you have Christians who will say the woman realized her mistake and truly wanted to fix it, or repent. If that is the case, then it's plausible by Christian faith she could be forgiven because she was sincerely sorry and wished to correct her wrong-doing.

As there are many religions, there are many denominations of Christianity. Therefore, a subject such as this will always remain open.

In most cases i would say suicide is wrong but in this one I may have done the same, but I'm not going to come home at the end of a bad day and find a nice strong belt to hang from

Neither would most people. Unless you've been in someone else's shoes, you have no room to judge his reasoning for an action like that. There's a lot more to it than just "Oh, that was unpleasant. I think I'll die now."

If I was God I would acknowledge her mistake and send her to heaven.

This isn't based on any religion. It's if you, personally, were God, what would you do?

I wouldn't send her to hell.
Everyone has thought of suicide, but at least she tried to re-do her
"sin". :[ I don't think she should, it doesn't seem right.

Umm, does this belong here?
And you do have to take into consideration that not everyone belives in god and hell and heaven.

Although my opinion is that nobody should decide who goes to heaven and hell except the real God (I believe that God exists) because we have all sinned and done wrong sometime in our lives so why should we choose whre someone goes when they have made that mistakes.
Also, in the bible, one of the commandments is 'You shall not make yourself an idol' so pretending to be God or acting like you are God is doing exactly that.

It certainly does belong here--and for crying out loud, it is a hypothetical question! It doesn't matter if you don't believe in God and it has nothing to do with "making yourself God". OK? The question is whether or not you think suicide in the case of this woman would/should be considered a punishable act, most likely based on Christian doctrine.
