Are Moderators REALLY helpful?
I made the title question in bold so people understand what they are answering and dont come off the subject that many do.

I just want to have your honest opinion,
Just to make something clear Im not talking about Official Meez Staff like Roscoemeez, Aquameez ect.
Im talking about fellow meezers who have applied for this position.

Basically I dont want to name individual names (although I have a few)
MANY moderators are helpful and but some have forced me to
challenge if Moderators are there to help or just applied to get attention

I remember being in a room with about 5 people.

Mod: hi
Me: yo.
Mod: Want to know why my name is blue?
Me: not really
Mod: Its because Im speacial.
Me: Wdf!? Isnt your job to help not to be big headed ORRR attention seeking
Mod: *zaps me*
Me: Ok.. ;l
*New Person enters room*
Mod: *Leaves room*


Ok maybe I exagerated, call me crazeh? Or maybe this is what is happening on meez but nobody wants to bring the problem forward..

But is THIS how mods should be behaving?

Awww.
Same ages ago I got banned for reasons modern meez wouldnt class as ban-worthy.
Hopefully meez will bring up another way for meezers with bans to help the online community.

There are some mods that are... Well... Less than desireable. LOL.

I was a helpful mod, when I was a mod.

I don’t think the current mods are there for attention. But I think that some that are trying to apply are failing to give a rat a—about the requirements and just head for their powers and attention.

I have ran into a mod like that before. I entered the room and just sat there minding my own buisness. And i see this one mod just being as rude as ever. She was calling people names and she was saying stuff like "I dont like you so BAM, your gone!" and she would kick them out. I havent seen her sense then, but I do agree some mods abuse the powers. But i think its mainly the MN ones who abuse the powers, all the mods ive seen on the forums seem to actually do there jobs.

I wouldn't know about the MN mods but pretty much all the forum mods are ok

Just remember, guys, if you see a mod abusing his/her power or otherwise behaving inappropriately, you can report the said mod just like any other user. All reports are viewed by the administrators, reports concerning mods are not an exceptiion.

And, as for my opinion, I do believe most of us are helpful or at least try to be. I try to help other users and try to make my forums a cleaner and nicer place. When I go to MN (that happens rarely), even there I try to answer people's questions, although it is very hard to talk to 10 people at a time.

And these problems are generally overlooked.

From Yokaiprincess locking all threads in controversy where people disagreed with her to Kat_Hamilton locking or deleting all threads of this nature (IE: Questioning moderators) problems with mods are pretty much over looked unless it involves boobs like it did with Catwalk and Bananas.

Abusing power is fine, body parts aren't. Some one please get Yokai to post n00dz

Well, honestly, sometimes they can suck because if your in Meeznation, and start fighting with other meezers, your more likely to get reported, but mods have answered my questions and have been very nice to me before, so I would say, yes they are helpful.

Namedropping mods isn't necessary. Moderators are there to help, but with all the people swarming around them, I can imagine that they could get testy.

Like Lo_Specchio said. If you see an abuse of power, report them. But don't just report them because you are mad at them.
