I feel like this is directed at me. I might be wrong, but anyways, I said "Extremist Christians", not just Christians.

.
it wasn't directed at anyone in particular. I've just noticed that many people in these types of forums tend to make certain generalizations.

Oh sure they claim to have turned straight, but i'll sit there, and boil inside them until one day their urges will set in and they'll be all up in dem gay bars.

You can't supress who you really are forever, it'll come out and cause a huge bang. Plus it's bad for you health

Edward did not sparkle in that movie, he had a bad case of ACNE! They just tried to hide it because they couldn't afford Photoshop. ¬.¬

I'm a Christian. I have no problems at all with gay people (like I ever could, lonnnnggg story). And people at school have made it seem like being gay is such a huge deal and they make other people believe it is bad and it's so ridiculous! It kind of makes me sick. Like.. It's so.. Stupid to think that you're so better than everyone else, just because you're different and what everyone else does is so weird and it should not be tolerated. It's a shame how people can be so ignorant.

They're either denying who they are now, or they were when they 'were' gay.

...Eh, what?
i was just trying to say how crazy people are about homosexuality and how they (psychiatrists) use to say it was a mental disorder, and how it wouldn't be a shock if a bunch of racist thought black people could be turned white, i know thats stupid but what i'm trying to say is that people are crazy is all.

People are born gay. It's set in there genes like their hair and eye colour. But that doesn't mean they can't decide to change it, like they can dye their hair colour or wear coloured contacts.

Ah, like Mengele tried to do with the Jews during WW2. Well, there is no way of changing black people white without a large sum of cash, so the only logical conclusion that a "racist" could come to about that would either be having them deported or extermination.

People are not "born" gay. It depends on their influences as they grow up. If a person were to hang out mostly with gay people, they they tend to believe that liking the same gender is okay, so they go along with it because they know they can./

Then how do you explain all those people born to very christian families who do not believe in homosexuality, that end up being gay?

People are born with the "gay" gene. I'm sure environmental surrounds have SOMETHING to do with it, but mostly it's due to genetics.
