The name explains the game, and one of the reasons why this game was cancelled was because, and I quote, "Too-Realistic American Deaths".
It's a game set in modern times and modern war, did they expect everyone to just get a splinter? And any death as long as it isn't exaggerated or fanatical(Even then sometimes) is Realistic. I cry alittle every time I play Call of Duty when one of my squadmates dies. You grow attached to these virtual men/women and want to see them survive and win. I would have loved to play SDiF and now never will simply because the company was afraid of sensitive douchebags and Anti-War Hippies.
That's right, I'm Pro-War.I'd sign up if I actually felt like there's something to defend from anymore.
People are getting mad because CoD:MW2 has terrorist sections(Haven't played it yet, just read this) where you have to bomb a airport. Infinity Ward is trying to show how horrible terorism is, and you never know something truly until you've experienced it no?
So all you people out there who expect people to tone down on the realism remember, not everyone wants the same as you. I want it as real as can be. It's still not reality and even those kids who shoot up they're schools know this.
