Holidays are those in which we celebrate traditions, special events, people as well as certain times of the year. All cultures around the world have many different holidays in which they celebrate such as Reformation Day in Chile, Kenyatta Day in Kenya, and Vesak in Indonesia.

For this week's contest I would like for you to go outside of your comfort zone a bit and create a poster depicting a specific holiday, but the twist is that it can not be from your own country. As an example; if you are from the United States don't pick the obvious such as Christmas, rather pick something like Magha Puja from Thailand. There are hundreds to choose from. The possibilities are endless!

It's time to create a new SIGNATURE for me! This time, I'd like a THANKSGIVING themed siggy! Anything related to turkey, stuffing, thankfulness, whatever you can think of, bring it on. The prizes are pretty awesome, indeed. So knock yourselves out, and have FUN!


Now, here are the Rules:

1. Post your entry as a REPLY to this thread.

2. Entries must be no wider than 400 pixels, and no taller than 200 pixels.

- The signature entry must, obviously, be Thanksgiving themed!

- The signature should also be Meez themed! Particularly related to me, Miss Lucy Meez.

- Entries must be PG-13. This means no cursing, nudity, etc. You know the drill.

- Entries must be your own work. Entering work that you didn't personally create will result in disqualification, and an infraction for stealing. Bad news.

Hey There Meezers!
It's that cheerful time of year again! Whether you celebrate Christmas or not, decorate a tree, give gifts, or just chill with the family, the winter holidays are upon us. We're going to start this up early so it'll be in the MeezMaker well in time for the holidays.


The Prize:
Your choice of 10,000 Coinz or 50 days of VIP!
We are also going to give you a special secret pincode to give out to your 5 closest pals to give them your shirt for free!

Here's how the contest works:
Step 1. Save the Template
Right click the template and Save As. Save it somewhere on your computer that you can easily find it.

Step 2. Open it in an Art Program.
Some popular free Art Programs:
GIMP - The GNU Image Manipulation Program
Paint.NET - Free Software for Digital Photo Editing
PhotoFiltre
You can use any image editing program you have, like paint, Gimp, or Photoshop. This is a great step to do when you decide what color you want your t-shirt to be. Remember, the templates are gray so if you want a white shirt you have to color the entire shirt, not just the lines.
:exclamationpoint:Make sure you paint over the dotted lines and don't resize or crop it!

Step 3 . Add your design
Have fun, show us what you can do! Use snazzy brushes, have fun with colors, draw an awesome picture! It must be related to winter or any of the winter holidays.

Step 4. Save your design as a .jpg, .gif, or .png.

Step 5 . Upload your design

Step 6. Post your Design
Make sure you post it in THIS thread by the end of Sunday the 22nd , when the contest ends. You only need to post it once and if you don't win this week you can always enter it again next time.
Most image hosts will give you the appropriate IMG code for posting on a BBCode forum.

:exclamationpoint:Remember to keep it PG13, that means no hateful, racist, or excessively gorey stuff!


:exclamationpoint:DO NOT use images that you have found on other sites (like Google)! Your entry will be disqualified if you take other people's artwork. This includes band logos, pictures of celebrities, brand names/logos and any other artwork that you didn't draw yourself.


Tips:
-Think unisex. The shirts will be for girls and boys.
-Small details, like text, won't be too legible. If you want text it should be pretty big.
-Check out the Tutorial Forum for tutorials on making t-shirts and using a variety of art programs!

-Quite a few times we see shirts and pants that do not color past the dotted lines. This causes white seams on the clothing. The space from the dotted lines to the red lines is not guaranteed to show up on the object. However if it remains white there may be a few bits of space that will be white. The dotted lines are more of an almost exact guesstimate of where the object's seams are. Your entry will not be disqualified, but it may look a bit funny if it wins.

-When placing an object keep in mind that the sides of the template will be the sides of the shirt. This means that if you place a huge image/text on the front or back it is going to stretch to the sides and may not be as visible from a straight on view. A good rule of thumb is to not have text near the dotted lines. These are just rough guesstimates of the curve of the shirt.

I want you to create an amazing Thanksgiving themed background to put in the Meezmaker! You can draw your ideal table setting, fancy Turkeys, or even your favorite Thanksgiving foods!

*First Place will get a 10,000 Coinz Prize (or a full 2 months of FREE VIP) As well as having their amazing Thanksgiving themed background featured in the MeezMaker. Winners will also be able to select 5 of their friends who get the background for free!
