I'm going to a fancy dress party tonight- no theme,

I don't have a lot of time to come up with an idea and I can't afford to hire a costume
Wanna be cute, not slxtty, I don't wanna give the wrong impression to the guys there
An outfit I can put together myself, as long as I appear to have put some sorta effort into it

For halloween I wore a white dress, sprayed my hair blue and wore blue makeup to look like the corpse bride, it was fun but I can't really do that one again. I wanna avoid the halloween sorta thing since it was so recent that everyone dressed up for that.

How many Coinz do you have? If you can't afford anything, you can reuse items from your closet. Just come up with the best outfit you can. Good luck.

Hmm I could wear my lab coat and be a scientist but that would not be a good look
I could wear my wetsuit and be a surfer but that would be even worse.
Other than that I don't really have anything I could see would make a good costume.

You can make a tutu relatively easy, and they can even be worn under other skirts to give more dimension to them. A decent tutu will only take about 5 bucks to get material for, then a little bit of sewing just as long as you have a sewing machine.

A tutu skirt is an old time classic idea if you don't want to spend money and don't have time for shopping. If you don't have a sweing machine, you can use small pins and maybe dye it with nail polish if you want to have the same colour with the skirt. I would get tulle in 2-3 matching colours and make it, in order to look bright and fancy. For the top, you can decorate it with pins, or wear a big long necklace and colourfull/floral tights.
