Hello FC! For the past month I've been hosting the wonderful, Around the World Fashion contest. It is based on countries around the world on which contestants had to make outfits.

After a month of hard work, 5 girls out of a total of 13 girls have made it to the top. Now you, FC, have the chance to vote for the girl who you think should take it all.

Just so you know why you should vote for each girl, I will tell you what the final round entails:
Part 1: Girls were required to create an outfit based on the country they were born in and also give a paragraph on the country.

Part 2:Girls were asked to imagine they won a contest to the country of their dreams. They must make an outfit for them to blend in with the natives of that country and give a paragraph on it.

Part 3: Girls were asked to give a paragraph on why they should be chosen as the winner of Around the World.

I noticed that one or two girls missed out on one of the parts to the contest. Just ignore that and vote on what they have provided.

I was born in America, but because America is such a general location, my outfit is based on my state, Nebraska. A lot of the people who live in Nebraska are the craziest football fans you will meet (Go Huskers!), which is represented by the red, football jersey. Of course, being in the Midwest, Nebraska lays in Tornado Alley. The tornado disaster of 1980 in Grand Island was the base of "Night of the Twisters." Finally, Nebraska has on of the highest German and Czech percentage populations in America, which is why my Meez is doing a Polka (well, it's a Waltz, but it's close enough).

I have wanted to visit Spain for a very long time, specifically for La Tomatina. La Tomatina is a food fight festival held in Bunol, Valencia on the last Wednesday of August. On the night before the tomato battle, the women traditionally wear all white, the men wear no shirts, and they all compete in a paella cooking contest. During the actual battle, the participants are advised to wear goggles and gloves, and the tomatoes have to be squashed before actually throwing them at anybody.

This was a very fun contest to participate in. Is was also interesting to see what everybody came up with during the rounds, but I believe that I should be chosen as a winner because I always tried to incorporate some of the country's culture in the outfits, instead of focusing only of the fashion.

Well even though i am Haitian i was born in America In Florida . People in Florida have lots of swagg and style we love to express our selves with our clothes shoes hair music what ever it maybe. We have lots of fun and we love our state the sun shine state. We love to go to theme parks because we have lots of them here like disney, wet n wild, Aquatica, Gator Land, 6 flags, Fun Spot, Universal, Epcot and more. And we love to SHOP.We also love our sports and music and dancing point blank Florida is a really fun state where people love to hang with friends.


If won a trip to anywhere i would go to Tokyo because well first off i think that their syle is so AMAZING like i mean they have so much swagg its crazy and i would love to get a feel of it up close. Also i want to no more about their culture and i love food so i have to try some out too. But most of all to have fun in a different environment. I would also like to try Tokyo Drift lol i might hurt my self but its part of the experience lol


I should win well because i think ive done a good job. I try to make my outfits as real as possible and i like to ammuseppl inmy outfits and make them wonder. But umm thin was one of my favorite competitions ever even though i got eliminated and came back this competition was about the world which i liked most because i want to travel the world one day and this competition just wanted to make me do iteven more. So even if i dont win this competition it was still very fun and i learned alot, this was a great expereience and i hope theres a season two of this because id join in a heart beat lol. But umm yah thanx for bringing me back i had loads of fun thanx for the trip around the world lol

My home country is Vietnam.
Women wear loose-fitting pants and blouses that have beautiful designs on them with many colors. This outfit is more of the traditional wear. Long black hair is also very traditional. Fans are used in many Vietnamese dances and are usually very puffy with feathers. We go for the light make up thing most of the time, too.


If I won a contest to any country in the world, I would chose Italy. Mainly Venice, Italy, though. I'd LOVE to go to the Carnival of Venice (or Carnevale di Venezia in Italian) where it is traditional to wear masks. There are three different masks : Bauta, Moretta and Larva.
The Bauta covers the whole face.
The Moretta is an oval-shaped velvet mask.
The Larva is the mainly white mask.
Everyone would be walking around town in masks. You could also see exotic animals, ropewalkers and jugglers


I think I should be chosen as the winner for Around the World - Fashion Contest because I always tried my best in, incorporating both fashion and culture in my outfits. I really enjoyed this contest because I was able to be creative and show how I saw each country and it's own culture. It was an outstanding contest. Even if I don't win I'm still proud to know I gave it my all and I know all the other ladies did too. Truly speaking I think all the finalists are winners in their own way.

I was born and live in the United States.
It is one of the worlds most multicultural nations.
My home state is New Hampshire. NH is known for its woodsy areas. It's the second most forested states in the country.
New Hampshire is also at the lowest levels among states in religious commitment.
NH's motto is "Live Free or Die".


And if I could go to any country it would be Korea.
I don't have any specific reason why, other than to site see.
I think it's absolutely gorgeous there.
To see the empires and experience the different culture would be amazing.

live in the one of the simplest country in Southeast Asia called “Philippines/Republic of the Philippines”. I was born in Manila, the capital of the Philippines. Philippines are comprises of 7,107 islands. We are formerly colony of Spain and United States. The dominant religion here is Roman Catholic because of the influence of the Spain but there are more other religions here including Islam, Buddhism and Hinduism. In our country we’re rich in different cultures and natural resources. The usual climates here are hot/sunny season during the month of March to May and rainy/humid season during the month of June to November. We have over 180 languages and dialect but the most common languages used here are Tagalog and English. Filipinos has different styles of clothing it depends on the island/culture/area they’re representing but the most common clothing is the dress called “Filipiniana” for females and “Barong Tagalog” for males.


If I won on a contest and I we’re given a chance to choose and go on one country I’m going to Ireland. Long time ago I watched movie and the settings are located at the Ireland. As I saw that country, it captured my heart, I love their forest, the way they live etc. And I dreamt of one I’ll live there, build my own family and live in a very simple way.

The main groups that interacted with the Irish in the Middle Ages include the Scottish people and the Vikings, with the Icelanders especially having some Irish descent. The Anglo-Norman invasion of the High Middle Ages, the English plantations and the subsequent English rule of the country introduced the Normans, Welsh, Flemish, Anglo-Saxons, and Bretons into Ireland.

For me this contest is very nice. Every time I make my entries for this contest I make it to the point that I really gave my best. I’m having fun while discovering something on each country assigned to us in each round. Though sometimes it’s difficult to put clothes on our avatars because things and clothing in the meezmaker are limited still I enjoyed each and every part of this contest. It challenges me to portrait something using limited things, it makes me more creative and resourceful enough to use what are the available on meezmaker. I’m not going to say that I’m the only one who deserve to win in this contest because I know all of us gave our best rather than I’ll be contented on the result of this contest, what is important for me is I have fun, I enjoyed, I learned and gained new things and most importantly I had the time to bond with other contestants and learn something from them.
