I read somewhere that it's "old fashioned" to have a signature scent. Apparantly it gets boring. What do you lot think? Personally, I nearly always smell like Let It Rock by Vivenne Westwood if I'm going out, or even just if I feel like it. Or after sailing I might wear a body spray, at the moment I use the Impulse spray, London because it's cheaper and just to cover the smell of resevoir water...lol. I'm curious, most people I know use some sort of spray even if not perfume. Or for the boys, aftershave or something. I suppose I love perfume though, not everyone does. Although... I hate overpowering perfumes. Anyway, SMELL DISCUSSION ![]() It's as much part of an outfit as what you see i think!

I have a few different perfumes, so if I ever get bored of one, I can change things up. And rofl, I feel like a loser admitting this, but I really like the scent of the Hollister SoCal perfume, or whatever it's called. | |||||||

I will never get bored of my perfume although I do have several ![]() Hmm is that what the Hollister shop smells like? It smells pretty nice to me, like a daytime perfume. They opened a Hollister in my local shopping center back home and payed someone with an American accent to stand by the door and say hello when people walk in...

I have too different perfume, one fo the warmer season and one for the colder season. From the middle of spring to the middle of autumn, I use one from "Fruit de la passion" boutique, it's called "Pink" and smells really delicate. It has a note of vanilla in itmixed with field berries, which I adore. From the middle of fall to the middle of spring I used "Angel Innocence" from Thierry Mugler. It's even more sweeter than "Pink", it smells like cocoa and vanilla. Both perfumes smell pretty the same but one is "freshier" than the other, which is quite better for the other seasons. It might be old fashionned to have a signature scent but it's somewhat reconforting for others. Sincerly, my mother has always do the same perfume contrast than me when it comes to perfume and signature scent. She has two perfumes, both are pretty close to the others but since childhood, her signature scent makes me feel better when I'm sick or sad. Since I'm known for my motherly attitude, it might be the reason I do the same than her..weirdly while I use Pink, she uses Blue from the same collection from Fruit de la Passion and while I used Angel Innocence from Thierry Mugler, she uses Angel by Thierry Mugler also.

I have quite a lot of perfumes on my shelf, and I use all of them frequently. I get bored of using only one scent, maybe that is also why I rarely buy the same scent twice. Naturally, all my perfumes have something in common, something that I like, but they are certainly not identical. Which perfume I use today depends on my mood, and on the style of my outfit. Something more sweet for an elegant or evening outfit, something more fresh for a casual or flirty outfit. Some of my favourites out of those I have are Magnetism and Island Kiss by Escada, Diorific by Dior, DKNY (that red apple perfume), another apple perfume (pink bottle) by Nina Ricci, Deep Red by Hugo Boss... And no, that is not the whole list, I love perfume diversity.

I can say that my ''signature'' is Lancome's Miracle Forever - i adore heavy aromates, the other possessions that i adore wearing are Dior's Addict and Yves Rocher's Neo Natura...but when i really want to feel relaxed and happy i use Caldion (it might be cheap but the peach aromate is just heavenly)

My favorite body sprays are Bath and Body Works in Cherry Blossom and these two discontinued ones- Citrus Creme and Orange Citrus. My favorite perfumes. Ralph Lauren- Wild: It smells fruity which fades into a soft tangy smell. It's perfect for a date, school, or shopping! ![]() Aquolina-Pink Sugar: Sweet with vanilla and a bit of candy, it fades softly with a tang in it, with the vanilla blending.

I have a myriad of different perfumes and body sprays... I usually don't use them much in the colder months (October-March) though because I have sensitive skin that gets dried out and chapped easily... But, in the spring and summer, I usually use Black Amethyst perfume... It isn't too overpowering, and the smell lasts all day and kinda gets sweeter-smelling as it absorbs into your skin and mixes with your natural oils. It's kindof a signature scent for me, but if I don't use it, I go for something that's kinda cinnamony or vanilla-scented.
