Agree with you that he can be owned, but so can they by others. The beauty of Marvel is there's always at least one other person tailor made to kick your butt. For example, Rogue then gets owned by Gambit.

The movies were fine to an extent, but I thought they really rushed the stories a little too much. X3 was like watching the Phoenix Saga in fast forward with all the really important parts cut out. -__-
