I've thought up a list for 'You know when your a Geek.'

So, 'You know when your a Geek when'

-You've graduated with honors- or all grades above an 80
-You have more than 5 email addresses, and manage to operate all of them
-You use beta, when beta can be used
-You can read at least 3 350 page books a month
-You podcast
-You know every song from Grease and Grease 2
-You arrange everything alphabetically
-You do everything using MS Word, and then copying it onto the reply box
-You get two Masters in college
-You are physically AND mentally addicted to the Internet..
-You are able to connect ANY word or phrase (maybe even a sentence) to a song, like I did before with All My Life and Saving Abel.....(This of course meaning you are a music geek)
-You ask your mom if you can have broken appliances to fix that are broken
-You know the most random information about things most normal human beings wouldn't care to know
-You have a blue jumpsuit with yellow trim and the number 13 on the back
-You can argue the differences between the way PJ and GL direct epic movies, and how their views on CGI color how their films turn out.
-You can quote LOTR or SW in everyday conversations.


To me, these are the things that make up a true geek, hopefully you can imply somethings to yourself or even request adding more to the list.

I was a complete dunce in school, more from laziness than anything, i have two e-mail addresses, one of which i rarely even look at, beta was before my time, a thousand a month, if i were challenged, would be left in the dust, nothing to podcast, i know maybe three grease songs, not one of them well, i do arrange things alphabetically, in subgroups, with cross referencing, ms word is for weirdos or lazy consumers, i prefer kwrite, couldn't get a student loan to go to university, but i got about a week in.
i'm not a geek, by a long shot, graded by anybodies system.

-If you count manga as those 350pg books, count me in
-I don't need MS word for my default email -- it already has font types, sizes, colors, everything.
-I have podcasted, like....3-5 times
-Theres a grease 2??!!
-I never use beta, not allowed, unless you count my dad's website; he let's me beta test THAT
-Also, I only have 2emails. Bit anyone with more than two can manage, as long as they have things like Thunderbird or Eudora. But I don't; I use the mail app on my iTouch.

For me this is true, esp when I Got the whole web in my hands while in bed.
I'm so addicted (to, all the things you do... Sorry, another music moment. This time its "Addicted" by Saving Abel) that when I woke up 215am just to lower the temperature in the house, I was bored and checked my email and when on meez. Its been almost half an hour now; now I can't sleep..

Also:

Betamax video cassettes, not beta software, if that's where you were going, a format superior to vhs, lost the war because it was proprietary, and the vhs design was open(that's got me thinking of software).
