VayCay was good, relaxing -- I'm jealous that Ly got to go to Comic Con -- I don't know if anyone remembers Mayka Meez (who is my buddy) but she was down there & said it was AWESOME!

Wait - LY - did you MEET Jonathan Frakes?

/faintsdeadaway

I'm actually in the middle of watching Blackpool (which I downloaded) it's kinda cheesy but fun... Trying to find somewhere to download Torchwood Series 2 from - as I don't get BBC America on my cable system & I need to catch up...

Tongue pr0n, huh? Have you seen the YouTube vid "OMG?"
YouTube - David Tennant - OMG

Ice cream cones and kissing... MMMM DT!

OMG! I can't believe I missed out on all the Doctor Who talk. I had no idea this forum was here. It should be named the Official David Tennant thread. But i'm still happy I found it. Any way *wipes drool* DT is soooo Hot & I can't wait for DW to come back on. I haven't seen Blackpool, but I'm dying to watch it. I don't watch any of the Harry Potter movies, but my daughter does & says that DT is in one of the last ones. Now I have to go watch it just so I can catch an extra glimpse of DT. I need my fix of DT til the show comes back on or I'm gonna go into some serious withdrawals.

Now how is it I did not know you were a DW fan???

Goodness...so much we could have talked about...

Yes...I'm getting DW withdrawl. (Could also coincide with DT withdrawl) I've found that if I go to youtube and type in either DW or DT (full name) I tend to find some loverly pieces of greatness. DT's best is "The Friday Night Project" He has two of them..and they are HI-Sterical!!

Also...the one HP DT is in is called "The Goblet of Fire" He's really not there for much...a little at the beginning...a bit in the late to middle and then right at the end.

He does do this thing with his tongue though....

Yeah...So welcome to the Thread!!!

Thanx mama. The only reason I hadn't ventured into Geek Central was cause I just figured......well Geeks. But the only thing I'm Geeky about is DW. I was reading through the multimedia forum and came across the DW thread & you had posted that there was a thread in here dedicated to DW. I was like Lucy at first about Donna. She seemed too chatty for my taste, buuuuuut, she grew on me. She's so darn sentimental. I was too lazy to read through all the pages in the other thread about DW, but do you have any ideas as to who Professor Riversong(sp?) is too DW? I do but hubby doesn't believe me.

*L* I think most people deep down have a bit of geek in them. The first step is to admit you have a problem.

You know...I never had an issue with Donna. Maybe it was because I actually watched The Catherine Tate show...and I thought she was funny, but when I heard she was going to be series 4's companion I was like Woo-Hoo!! Now Martha...Martha I had an issue with, but I think it's because she was a little to clingy for my liking (same as Rose...but Rose was supposed to be like that and I always thought Martha should have been a little more indapendant.)

As for Professor Rive Song...I have no freaking clue. Part of me things that she's The Doctor's Wife (That would be the only reason he would ever tell her his real name) But then again...depending on the whole Jenny thing...Could be her in a regeneration. I think right now she's still just a huge mystery.

I think mainly the reason I don't want to think of her as The Doctor's wife is because in my head I still see him with Rose (even though Rose has the "Other" Doctor) So maybe...knowing that...The Doctor actually "moved on" and found another woman. Then again...he does go on adventures without her (she said so as much whenever they "meet up") and one would think that if they WERE married...she would be with in the Tardis.

I think I just made things more complicated...

I was thinking the same thing about the Professor. I kept telling the hubby that I THINK she is the future Doctor's wife. Why else would he tell her his name. I hadn't thought about the idea of her being Jenny.

Here's another thing my hubby & I noticed, just wondering if anybody else did. When Rose came back, we immediately noticed her teeth. She looked extremely buck toothed. They were very noticeable & her speech seemed different, almost like she had a bit of a lisp. Were we the only ones who caught this? We couldn't watch her speak without staring at her teeth trying to figure out if maybe she had some dental work.

I say future wife - b/c you have to remember that there are always different incarnations of the Doctor out there floating around doing different stuff - time isn't a straight line. "Timey-wimey, wibbly-wobbly." They occasionally collide w/each other & it causes Belgium (cloister bells, end of the universe, etc.) So - it's totes possible that River Song has been floating around on a different timeline with the same Doctor, later in his incarnation as that Doctor. Ya know?

Then again, it's interesting to think she's a Jenny regeneration.

Then again, it's icky to think that b/c she was a little too lovey with ze Doctor.

Hey Teaz - welcome to the thread!

Did notice the mouth thing. There was a rumor floating around that she a tongue ring and that was why she was holding her mouth weird. Billie Piper also said she was so worried about her accent with regards to Rose (Billie had been playing a posh call girl in another series) So that could have been why her accent and mouth were just...odd.
