| Yes, and MSN was sooooooo quick to jump on that story. Macs are not invulnerable, but they are much less likely to be viruses than Windows. Still, of all the Mac users worldwide in the past nine years of the current OS, a whopping two people have gotten a virus.

What? There hasn't been a real virus since the old days of the apple II :P And I'm pretty neutral about Linux. Not my fave but some people like it. And as to price.... What would you rather buy, a cheap PC that'll be broken in a year, or a Mac that might cost a little more but will probably last you 5 years? Plus, you can always install Windows on a Mac. It's like buying two computers in one!

MACs are cool...except it's a mission and a half to get certain computer parts fixed, or upgraded, AND it's expensive as ****. therefore, I'M A PC.

Ah, another few PC people. If you only knew what Macs were like, you'd be amazed. Just try one! Doesn't cost a thing, if you go to the Apple Store. ![]() I've found it's way easier to get parts for Macs than for PCs. I would know, I used to have a cruddy PC. A dark time in my computing life. >_< If my Mac ever has a problem I'll just go to the Apple Store and get a replacement part. as for price, a PC configured to the same specs as Mac will cost more than the Mac, and that's not even including the cost of the OS. Snow Leopard: $30. Windows Vista SP3 (sorry, 7): $120 for the mid-range version. Four times the price. And you'll be buying a PC every few years, whereas your Mac will last a super long time. ![]() And if you want tiny computers, go to the PC section of Best Buy. Ever heard of a netbook? MacBooks are 13 inches to 17 inches (my fav is the 15 inches.) If you're talking about thinness, sure, go enjoy your big bulky laptop while I enjoy my super thin and portable one. ![]() You know, you're only proving me right when you say you don't like Macs and you've never used one. How can you know if you like a Mac or not if you've never used one? It's like saying "I hate pizza, and I've never eaten it. >_O I'd REALLY like to see some people who have used Macs and still like their PCs.

Good for you! ![]() BTW, I was a Mac before I even had a Mac. You can have a PC and still be a Mac. It just depends on whether you want a stable, elegant computer or not (take a guess which is which XD ).
