Ooh, that's not good. >_<
Sorry, I can't help you though, I have a Mac, which that kind of stuff never happens to.
And WHY are you using windows media player? Get iTunes. It's free and awesome.

Did you know Macs have automatic backup? If you get a Mac, you'll never lose data again

Do you have a 2nd music player? I ask because every computer is different and mine sends songs to Creative Media instead of Windows Media. Did you try opening your songs directly onto Windows Media?

Its illegal if you use it for copyright actions according to he Digital Millenium Act of 1998... But basically Limewire is for p2p networking so you can share files with other users.

But what did you do before your music got corrupted?

If your computer crashed, it can be a numerous of problems. One possibility is that maybe your music files got corrupted.
Maybe whenever your computer crashed and back up again, did you see if your music is at the same folder when media player use that folder to play your music?

If you knew, I wish I can see your PC to see what is the exact problem that happen when it crashed.

This is what I do to get my limewire songs into Windows Media Player..
1) Open up your Music file.
2) Go to Limewire and Highlight all of your songs you want in Windows Media Player.
3) Take those Highlighted songs and drag them into your Music File.
4) Close and Wa-la all your songs should be in Windows Media Player.

Hoped this helped? :/ I suck at explaining things..
