Ok, I have to give a presentation on Monday. I use the Apple Remote to control my Mac (of course). I have the old white one, works fine. A few days ago they released the new aluminum one (ooh, shiny!). So which one should I get? Should I keep the white one, which works great, and save myself the time of swapping it at the Apple store, or should I get the aluminum one and look totally awesome (and get to go to the Apple store)?

I would just stick with the white old one that works good....why waste your money? If you like going to the apple store i would get the aluminum.

The white old one works fine, but the new one is aluminum... And they might give me my money back if I swapped it out (i talked them into a discount on iWork the other day. ) and yeah, the apple store is awesome. I think I'll get the new one.

Awww... Save your money for something else. I say if something works then keep it and save money for ummm like clothes and such....

Turns out I didn't have time to go to the Apple store anyway, and the old one worked fine. I will get the new one at some point, though.

I'd stick with the old one. Mac products can get pricey.
