Well ive been to many forums and what moderators do is detect any flaming, spam, or anything along the lines of innapropriate. I've never been a mod before but i assume they inform the admins of any thing they see, and they report it to the admins.
but i think the admins choose the moderators because we could have really bad ones. So i think we need moderators on performance, not on activity alone
