One of the best things you can do is make a schedule. Schedule time for you to study and do homework. Put space in-between your classes for you to go into the library and do some homework or review stuff before your next class. And when you have homework to do, DO IT. Don't put it off.

Also, if you're in any music classes or taking any lessons through your college, it would be a good idea to schedule time to set up your instrument, warm up a bit, and look over the problem spots in your pieces before your class starts.
