There are a lot of reasons the baby can't walk. First you have to check with the doctor to discovered it is nothing physical. If you have checked then it must then be mental. If the baby insists on being carried that is the biggest problem as she is getting what she wants. If you put her favorite toy on a table she must stand to get does she stand?

My little brother didn't start walking till he was 2, it's nothing wrong each child develops differently, if you doctor didn't make a stink at her last check up then don't worry about it, she'll walk when she's ready.

I agree all babies develop at their own pace. If you are really worried ask your childs pediatrician. My sisters kids were slow at all the milestones like sitting up, rolling over, walking etc. but it was because her kids are huge, and they didn't have the muscle strength for it yet.

Don't worry, they all start at different times. Like they all said, check it out with a pediatrician. My big sister was a late walker and soon as she did walk she wouldn't slow down! :-) Blessings! | |||||
