AMG, MEEZERS! I'm totally stoked because Martin said I could run the Meez Video Challenge for July/August... It all started b/c Martin made me a YouTube video playlist to listen to/watch while I'm in the office:

La, la, la Lucy!

Check it out - he totally put together a list of 20 YouTube vids of some of my favorite music. After I listened to it, I said to him "Hey Martin - you know what would be cool? If we made a video challenge where users put together their best-of MEEZ videos playlist to be played in Meez Nation!"

So here's what we came up with for this month's video challenge:

MAKE A MEEZ YOUTUBE PLAYLIST!
The challenge is to compile 20 music videos staring Meezes into a playlist on YouTube.

Ideally, this would be a playlist you'd like to see playing in one of our hangouts in Meez Nation. It can be any genre of music you like - it just needs to be ROCKIN'!

Rulz:

• You can only use videos created by other Meezers & staring Meez avatars
• There must be 20 videos in your playlist for it to be considered
• You should post the URL (not the embed code, please!) in this thread when you're done with it
• All videos should be PG-13
• The deadline to post is August 15th at midnight

Once we close the contest Martin & I will watch all your playlists & post the five best ones for you to vote on.

Here's what you get if you win:

• 1,000 Coinz
• Bragging rights
• AND: your playlist will be featured in the video player of a brand new hangout in Meez Nation!

As John Cusack says about mix tape/playlist making in High Fidelity, "You gotta kick off with a killer, to grab attention. Then you got to take it up a notch, but you don't wanna blow your wad, so then you got to cool it off a notch. There are a lot of rules."

Actually, I think I'll try to make one with as few of my own vids as I can. But ANYONE can put my vids in if they wanna!!!

That is a good question!

First you have to create a playlist... You can do this following this path:

• Go to your YouTube profile page
• Click on Playlists
• Click on Edit Playlists
• Click on Create Playlists
• Create your Playlist
• Save your changes

Then all you have to do is search for and watch videos that you like. Once you find one you can add it to your playlist by pulling down the drop-down menu under Playlists (under the video) and hitting "okay."
