the Honor Society is a group of students whose averages are very good along with their class grades and they do things for their school and the community like public services

If you live in NY state, the graduation requirement is 5 Regents: Math, English, US History. Science, and Global History.

You live in IL? Cuz I do, and we had to take those last year.

Really, anyone can get into college if they can pay for it. There's always junior/community college if you mess up in high school, vocational schools, then the traditional University/Colleges.

Generally you just need decent grades and test scores to get into the more traditional ones. For Community, I think you just need to apply and be able to afford it, unless you get some type of financial aid.

I'm not in college yet, but everyone's told me to just expect to work and that the professors won't baby you through it. If you fail a class, that's your money lost and no refunds.

Yep I live in Illinois...not chicago mind you :P.

Yeah at the college I want to go to first it's a community college and they take just about anyone who's willing to learn (or as my friend says it, anything with a pulse) but it's not bad education so I'm doing it :P.

Yeah community is cheaper too you save a TON of money :D.

I honestly can't wait for college it sounds easier than HS..my mom even told me that even though she never graduated D:.

College sounds easier, but it also sounds harder at the same time.

It sounds easier because you won't have an assignment due every night and there's really no one there to tell you to stop talking, or go to the principal's office and there's a helluva lot more freedom.

What seems hard about that is the freedom, because we're going to have a lot more free time to goof off and put off papers and I know that I'm one of the biggest procrastinators ever, so I'm going to have to do something about that, because it's probably harder to pull a paper out of your ass in college than it is high school.
