Yes it is from "Head"... You simply must track a copy down, it's one of my fave films ever... It stars The Monkees, was co-written by Jack Nicholson, who was definately in his Psychedelic phase at the time (Easy Rider, Hells Angels On Wheels, Psych-Out...), and features some of the best songs The Monkees actually wrote - "Circle Sky", "The Porpoise Song", "Can You Dig It", and "(Long Title) Do I Have To Do This All Over Again"... It has no plot, no story, but is a gem of a film if you're into Psychedlia, which I am. Frank Zappa pops up in it, along with a talking Cow, and there is even an appearance from Toni Basil... ....aaaaaaaaaaaaanyway, your quote, movieguru, is from "The Spirit" (i had to look that up too). Here's mine: "We are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of dreams" extra bonus points if you can say where it originally comes from... | |||||||
