To greet and wish a good day : Buongiorno
in the evening : Buonasera (Good evening)
to give the good night : Buonanotte
And finally to say goodbye : Arrivederci

Oh it doesn't show some polish letters :wink: It's better to write so: dzien dobry, czesc. But we have some more words for hello (maybe not always in common use now): witaj/witam (i think the most similar is english welcome), serwus (like in german). Sometimes (rather rarely) people use the old form: szczesc boze (similar to german gruess gott).
