In Icelandic ppl most comonly say Bæ, its drawn from bye in english and you say it alike but if you want it in origonal Icelandic its Bless

| Nope. You see... Italian, French and Spanish are of the same root That's why all the "good byes" are similar. Ciao is the informal way to say good bye in Italian. The Formal way would be between "Arrivederla" & "Arriverdeci". In Spanish, "Adios" is formal. You want to say "Adios" to your elders. But for friends or peers there's no need to be so formal right? That's when "Chao" is used. Ok? Is like "Good bye" and plain "Bye" Now why so rude? I know in my country we do use "Chao" (from wiki) Spanish, esp. In Spain and Latin America: chao ("goodbye"); in Argentina and Uruguay: chau; Bolivia: chao ("goodbye" or "good night")
