Everyone has an angel.

The angels are being called. Every human being on earth needs an angel to proctect them. But from what, no one knows. But every winged being in the sky is being pulled towards someone, with the overwhelming urge to save them.

From The Dark.

The Dark that makes the sky cloudy and stormy. The Dark that is coming. The Dark that can't be stopped.

The angels are the only hope.

IC: Calar was on earth. It was pretty, he decided. New, and strange, and everything rolled in to one. He was wearing earth clothes, not robes. Jeans and a t-shirt.
And he was in a school.
He had marvelled at everything so far, and that faint tug was still there, somewhere in his chest. He was going to find his human soon.
He saw other angels everywhere, and they acknowledged each other slyly. The humans needed protection, and that's why they were there.
Absorbed in his time-table and heading to Algebra, he navigated the hallways of Southgate High.

Lucy growled as she struggled with pulling her hair in a ponytail while keeping control of the two books, large binder, four folders, and a pencil pouch. Being the klutz that she was, she was soon sprawled out on the floor.

Calar felt a tug again. They were close, whoever they were.
Although every human had an angel...not every angel was being called down. Only some humans needed protection. The ones that were going to be targeted. The ones that were in true danger, because...
Well, non of the angels had figure out why, yet.
Calar continued to walk, looking at his timetable, until he stopped dead in the middle of the hall. He looked down, the tug even stronger than ever.
She was younger than him, with bright green eyes and soft brown hair, and her skin looked healthily tanned.
"Hello." He said, because it felt right.

Lucy looked up at him and raised one eyebrow. She had never seen Calar before, so she had to assume he was new. "Er...Hi?"
She awkwardly gathered up all her books and stood up. Of course, a large chunk of hair fell out of her ponytail and into her eyes. She jerked her head slightly to try to shake it out of her face, but failed miserably. She sighed.

IC: Calar picked up the pencil pouch that she'd missed.
"Do you need a hand?" He asked, his eyes sparkling.
She was his, and he was hers. It was obvious to him, and maybe her. But Calar couldn't read minds.

IC: As she took the pencil pouch, Lucy said, "I've got it...Thanks..." she said hesitantly. Something about Calar was strange to her. How he seemed so familiar to her confused her. And she didn't like confusion.

"I guess I'll see you." Calar said politely, nodding.
He saw one other angel with her human, leaning against lockers and talking. But they had the same classes. Calar was nearly two years older than his human. But he could keep an eye on her now, mentally. That was something angels could do. But they could do lots of other things as well.
Outside the sky was growing darker by the second. All of the angels on earth could feel it. It was a disgusting, horrible tingle. The Dark was planning to have some fun with this event.
Ofcourse, the humans had found plausible reasons for all of the 'natural' disasters.
