Referral URL
Instead of having that "Enter the Username..." box when new users register, Meez should have a specific URL for every user so that they can get the credit automatically for referring new Meez users. It's sort of a pain to type in a username anyways, unless you're signing up as a favor to a friend.
For example:
meez.com/register.dm?referralid=diamondsknives

Fraudulent Referrals
Meez needs a way to stop fake referrals! This is 100% possible through IP tracking. It's not fool proof, but it's effective!

Legitimate Accounts
Only verified accounts should incur a referral award. It's so easy to screw the system the way it is right now, and since we how have to verify our emails to do a lot of Meez activities, this should be workable.

Rewards
Instead of only getting 200 Coinz per sign-up, you should be able to get better rewards. Let's say after your very first referral, you get 200 coinz; at 10 total referrals, you get a rare item; at 50 total you get 5 days of free vip!

Automatic Friending
As a way to know who you referred and to connect to new Meezers, referred users automatically have the user that referred them on their friends list, and vice versa.

With these ideas, both Meez and the Meezers win! Meez will have new members and potential new customers, and Meezers have a real incentive to refer people to Meez! Meez can even make banners with the personalized codes for us to put on Myspace, or whatever networking sites we use!

They already track false accounts. That's how so many people get banned for breaking the coinz rules. But I do like the idea of the cumilative referrals. /supportswithoutbutton

Suggestion to add to the list:

Some way to find out WHO THE HECK I REFERRED. Like... An auto-friend option or something. I keep referring people but I don't know who they are. 0_o;

Great idea! I was pondering that idea after I posted the thread but I'll tweak it to fit it in
