Lately, I've been noticing a *lot* of drama going on in the suggestion forums that really doesn't need to be here. We're here to thumb-up or thumb-down suggestions, we're here to suggest ideas. We're not the suggestion guideline Nazis or top fashionistas of planet earth.

What I am proposing is a simpler format for MeezMaker Suggestions.

Sorry for the monstrously large image! The image is what I see to be the new suggestion format. It is separate from the forums. The submission form page will be like this.

Title:
Image URL:
Description:

The supporter/non-supporter number and users will be viewable only by the administrators. Original posters can still view the number of supports and non-supports.* New supports will bump suggestions. That way, the admins and the admins alone can decide who wants and doesn't want a suggestion and will take the idea into consideration. People won't be swayed to support/non-support because there's a lot of supports/non-supports. There will be no replies to suggestions. Just the Support / No Support choices. Have a question? PM the person who created the suggestion. You will be able to change/remove supports if you wish to

*Suggestions will only have one main image. This will, for the most part, eliminate the multiple suggestions in one thread. I think we should be allowed to have a couple additional URLs available to click on and view, if you want to give people a better idea. It will not be an upload form, you will enter the URL of the image. It will be resized (by HTML) to certain dimensions so it won't stretch the screen (cleanliness!), but you can still click on it to see the original image.

Descriptions won't have a character limit because I understand that suggestions can get pretty nit-picky (oh hey look at this one). I would however suggest that there isn't any HTML/BBC coding involved to simplify things and prevent more images from popping up. Something really simple like a line break is okay.

Since this isn't like the forums, it won't really emphasize who suggested something. It emphasizes the suggestion. You can, however, view suggestions based on the user (see the image!). Users can still edit suggestions.

I think it's a really simple way to submit MeezMaker ideas to Meez. If you see an idea that's been suggested already, press "Report Abuse" on the suggestion and submit the link of the thread that had the same suggestion. If it's inappropriate or doesn't follow the guidelines*, also use "Report Abuse".

I'm going with travisaurus' suggestions as far as knowing if you've supported or not:* Icon Showing You've Supported The Thread? [UPDATED] I'll try to make another graphic soon of what the suggestion list would look like.

I think that the suggestions forum should stay intact for non-meezmaker suggestions. Otherwise I think this would be great for Meez. It would be a lot simpler.

In a nutshell:
• Simpler Format for MeezMaker suggestions
• No replies = No drama
• Support and No Support Buttons
• Separate from Suggestions Forum

I plan to work on some more graphics so you all can see what I'm seeing. I think this could be wonderful for Meez! We are working to hammer out details so if you have anything to say then say it*

I also don't like the "One picture per thread" idea.
Like look at x_pyro's Vinyl Pants suggestion. He posted multiple pictures because he wanted to show what they'd look like in different colours.

Maybe we can collaborate ideas then! I was just thinking that if you wanted extra examples just edit them all into one image. But maybe we should have an option to add additional images, I just don't know how to incorporate it

Haha yeah you're right. Hmm. Maybe have additional links to photos that you're allowed to have? Like, one main image to show and then additional ones to give you a better idea?

For the bumping thing, maybe you could be allowed to bump one of your suggestions once a day. Just one suggestion though. Otherwise you'd see a page full of suggestions by the same person.
