(1) Use Bookmarks
In the top right of every page, there is a 'Remove Frame / Meez Menu' link. Clicking this will allow you to see the real URL of the suggestion thread you are viewing, and will also allow you to bookmark it.
If you try to bookmark without removing the frame first, then your bookmark will simply go to the forum homepage.
Use this trick to bookmark threads you want to support later, or keep track of.


(2) Use Subscriptions
You can subscribe to threads using the option in the 'thread tools' menu. Doing this helps you keep up to date with the thread. You can elect to receive email updates on the threads you are subscribed to, so that you never miss any replies, yet don't have to constantly check the thread. This is a great thing to do if you want to keep track of a thread while you go away, or watch an old thread to see if anyone replies to it in future.

(3) Use the 'Search' Menu
Under the 'search' menu in the forums, there is an option called 'your posts'. This will automatically show you your previous posts. This can be very helpful if you posted in a thread, but then forgot how to get back to it. When you find it again, use the bookmarking trick (1) so you don't lose it again!

(4) Keep track of your suggestions & supports
There are links at the top of the suggestion forum which will allow you to search for all of your previous suggestion threads, as well as all posts that you have supported. You can use them to keep track of the responses to your suggestions, and what's going on with suggestions you have supported.

(5) Read the Rules
Reading the rules is step one in learning how to make a useful contribution to the suggestions forum. It is also the single most important thing you can do to avoid getting your thread or post deleted by the moderators. The rules are there to help you, so it pays to know them.

(6) Understand how we review suggestions


If a suggestion has the "MeezMaker" prefix, we will generally review it once it reaches around 400 supporters.

For all other types of suggestions, we will generally review them when they reach around 250 supporters.

Please note, however, that:

• The exact number of supporters required for a suggestion to get reviewed varies over time, and depending on the type of the suggestion.
  • For example, forum-related suggestions can be reviewed with around 100 supporters, whereas MeezMaker-related suggestions always require at least 300.
  • Over time, the average number of supporters needed for a suggestion to get reviewed will change.
• If a suggestion is filed under the wrong prefix, and it comes up for review, all that will happen is that it gets moved to the right prefix. It will not actually get a review beyond this.
• Certain suggestions may be reviewed faster than others. This is normal and should be expected.
• We do not always comment on suggestions after reviewing them. Sometimes, we leave them as is, to be reviewed again later.
