| How To Design Pants in Gimp http://i337.photobucket.com/albums/n..._GimpPants.png Note- I forgot to remove the dotted lines! Please remember to erase them. ![]() ![]() How To Design Pants in Paint Save the Template onto your computer. Open up Paint. > Start-> All Programs -> Accessories -> Paint File-> Open to get the template You should now see this: Image 1Pant Color > Decide on what color you want your pants to be. To make a custom color go to Colors -> Edit Colors Image 3Click on a Custom Color: square and hit Define Custom Colors >> This will open up a color pallete, pick the color you want and Add to Custom Colors. Clicking Add to Custom Colors multiple times will fill up more color blocks. Click OK. ![]() Ugly right? Image 4No worries. We want to make it all a color, but at the same time we want to know where the dashed lines are. Using the Custom Colors, grab a slightly darker shade of your pants color. ![]() ![]() Image 5Design Time > ![]() This is where you really get creative! Try out the slanted brushes as well as the cirular ones. Use all of the sizes for varying thicknesses ![]() Use darker and brighter colors to add more depth to your designs. Image 6Saving > When you are done click File -> Save As. Name your entry and click Save. Uploading > Use whichever uploading site you prefer. If you use Photobucket it will give you the proper IMG tags that makes it easy to post on the forums. Post your Designs in the Design Pants thread. Check in the Contest Forum for any ongoing Contests. ![]() Any Questions? Last edited by penymeez; 17th December 2008 at 12:26 AM. | |||||||

| I took the basic shape and size of the other smilies, made it my skin tone and drew in the details with a 1pixel pencil. You have to draw each frame of the animation. Animated it in Image Ready. | |||||||
