Online |  Tutorials: Tracing your Avatar in Photoshop and Gimp Hi everyone! I finally got around to finishing these tutorials. The Pen/Path tools are a great option for people who only have a mouse and/or are a bit shaky. It's a great way to make smooth lines in big chunky colors. Of coarse the more shapes you make the more detail you can add. Photoshop You will need an understanding of the Pen Tool. One of the best ways to get this is to actually play with the tool. We'll be going from  To  Perhaps later I'll focus on finer details, like Eyes and Lips  Tutorial - Pen Tool Peny Tutorial - Pen Tool Eye Gimp 2 You will need an understanding of the Paths Tool. Online | Re: Using Photoshop's Pen Tool to Trace your Avatar Yeah, eyes can be a bit tricky. I'll be sure to get another tutorial focusing on eyes. I generally start with the Whites, then the Outer, Darker circle, then the Inner one, then the Highlight. I'll shoe you what I mean . | |||||||
